Find the places on your own face

Choose one photo and the browser finds the points on the face, then draws where each named place sits. The photo never leaves the page.

Open the dictionary

The photo chooser opens only after this switch is on. It starts off. Even when on, the photo is read inside the browser, and the only thing left in this browser is the switch itself.

A face photo is personal data. This app does not read it to recognise anyone or to confirm an identity. It takes point coordinates and uses them to point at places, and those coordinates disappear when the page closes. That is why this switch is asked here, separately from the general notice.

On a shared computer, press the erase button below when you are finished. Switching off already clears the marker, but erase works whether it is on or off.

If you are under fourteen, please look at this with a guardian. This app has no account, so it has no way to check an age, and it does not claim to.

Privacy notice

A photo taken straight on reads best. Glasses and a fringe can hide some places. The photo you choose never leaves this screen.

The first time, the browser downloads the program that finds face points. It is about 15 megabytes and comes only from our own server. After that the browser keeps it.

Switch on reading a face photo to choose an image.

What these numbers cannot do

  • One photo means something only when it is taken straight on. A turned head changes the widths, a lowered head changes the heights. We can only correct a sideways tilt.
  • The top of the forehead is the highest point of the face mesh, not the hairline. That is not the boundary the books describe, and a fringe pushes it further off.
  • Expression and lens distance move the numbers. Two photos of the same person give two answers.
  • Left and right are as they appear in the photo. Front cameras sometimes save a mirrored image, so a photo alone cannot settle which side is which.
  • We have not measured how accurate any of this is. There is no ground truth to compare against, so we claim no accuracy.

What this app does not do

It gives no score, sets no grade, builds no ranking, and never compares you with another person, a celebrity or an animal. It does not settle anything about your fortune, your work, your money, your health or your lifespan. It quotes what the books said, and it does not apply those words to you.
